Swiss fiduciary group · Platform

One group — one platform

Arvex brings fiduciary firms of German-speaking Switzerland under one roof. To turn that into a group, every firm works on the same platform: same books, same closing, figures that can be compared — and towards its own clients each firm keeps its own brand.

After signing

An acquisition is not finished on the day it is signed —
it begins.

Without a shared platform

  • —As many accounting programs as the group has acquired firms
  • —Every firm books differently — the figures hardly line up
  • —Training, operations and licences per firm, over and over again
  • —Knowledge sits with individual people; holidays or a departure stall everything

With one platform for the group

  • Every firm runs its mandates through the same process — from receipt to closing
  • New mandates join from a cut-off date, first in parallel with the existing system
  • Open items, unposted receipts, revenue and margin per mandate — calculated the same way everywhere, up to date every morning
  • One software, one operation, one training — in the browser, nothing to install

The classic fiduciary is the shared bookkeeper of SMEs. The fiduciary in the Arvut network is additionally their fractional CFO — and not only for small companies.

The platform

What a shared platform brings the group

The professionals stay in their firms and with their clients. The platform makes sure work is done the same way everywhere — and that every new firm settles into the group faster.

Same books, same closing

The same process from receipt to entry, bank reconciliation to the cent, VAT return as PDF and eCH-0217, balance sheet and income statement straight from the books.

Taking over mandates

Mandate by mandate from a cut-off date, first in parallel with the existing system. A mandate counts as taken over when books and bank statement agree — not when the data has been copied.

Making it comparable

When everyone books the same way, the same figures come out the same way everywhere: open receivables and payables, unposted receipts, revenue and margin per mandate — up to date every morning.

Keeping the local identity

Every firm appears to its clients under its own brand: its own client portal at its own address, its own invoices with QR-bill, its own address for receipts.

A central function instead of separate IT

One software, one operation, one training — instead of as many systems as the group has firms. In the browser, in four languages down to the posting texts.

More mandates with the same team

Receipt intake, recognition and posting, bank, invoices and payment files run automatically — the professionals gain time for closing, tax and advice.

How it works

How a new firm moves onto the platform

No big switch over one weekend, but mandate by mandate — so that day-to-day business never stops.

1

Set the cut-off date

For each mandate a cut-off date, an opening balance and a chart of accounts. The existing system keeps running in parallel.

2

Reconcile

Receipts and bank run through the platform. A mandate is taken over when books and bank statement agree to the cent.

3

Switch over

Only then is the old system switched off for that mandate — and the next mandate is up.

Frankly

What the platform does today — and what it does not

Choosing a platform for years needs the limit, not just the promise. “Today” means: running on real mandates.

Running today

  • Receipt intake via e-mail, shared folder and scanner; recognition and posting of invoices and receipts
  • Bank statements (camt.053, CSV, PDF) become entries, reconciliation to the cent
  • Client invoices with QR-bill, receivables and payables, payment files pain.001
  • VAT return (FTA form, eCH-0217), balance sheet and income statement
  • Client portal under the fiduciary firm's brand, in four languages

Not today

  • —Group view: a view in which the holding sees all companies together does not yet exist as a finished function — today each firm is its own fiduciary instance with its mandates.
  • —Payroll calculation: payslips calculated elsewhere are posted.
  • —One-click migration of history: onboarding starts from a cut-off date.
  • —EBICS, automatic dunning, till and POS connection: in progress.
  • —Audit, closing and signature: stay with people.

A group view would be defined by Arvex together with the technology partner: which key figures, who sees what, at what rhythm.

Every firm keeps its name.
The platform carries the routine.

The same books across the group, figures up to date every morning, control to the cent — and more time for clients, staff and advice.

A market that is already consolidating

In five years the number of fiduciary firms in German-speaking Switzerland fell by 2.1% while employment rose by 5.6% (FSO STATENT 2019–2024). Many owners are looking for a succession that respects their firm and their clients — which is exactly what Arvex stands for.
